Primary Goal: |
To transition African American men and women ages 18 and over from chemical substance addiction to sobriety through activities that encourage behavior modification while in outpatient treatment and to provide a cost-effective way of maintaining sobriety through relapse prevention. |
Target Population: |
Chemically dependent men and women age 18 and over living in the 7-county Twin Cities area; 89% are African Americans, 11% are other races.Economic status varies from homelessness, on the verge of becoming homeless, low-income, financial indigent, to receiving general assistance. |
Services: |
The services include but are not limited to: support group therapy, one-on-one counseling, aftercare support and other social services referrals as necessary for the holistic care of the client. |

Male Day Program: |
4 hours/day, 3 days/week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m for a total of 60 hours (5 weeks) |

Male Evening Program: |
4 hours/day, 3 days/week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, for a total of 60 hours (5 weeks) |

Female Day Program: |
4 hours/day, 2 days/week, Tuesdays and Thursdays; from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m for a total of 60 hours (8 weeks) |

4 hours/day, 2 days/week, Tuesdays and Thursdays; from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, for a total of 60 hours (8 weeks) |
