Turning Point, Inc. is a social service agency that provides culturally-specific treatment, counseling and support groups to chemical substance users and abusers, HIV/AIDS/STD Education and Prevention, Education and Employment, Outreach services, Continuum of Care services to substance users and abusers, mothers and children. Turning Point has been part of the African American communities in the Twin Cities for over 30 years.
Services are provided at the Turning Point main facility located at 1500 Golden Valley Road, in North Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our headquarters is a recently built facility designed to accommodate the physically handicapped through the use of ramps and elevator lifts for wheelchairs. The building is well equipped for community meeting space and client group therapy sessions, and has kitchen and dining amenities. |
